Cardiovascular
The Cardiovascular Department at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital offers non-invasive testing including EKG, Twenty-four Hour Holter Monitor, Stress Tests, Nuclear Stress, Echo Stress, Echocardiograms for adults and children, and Transesophagael Echo. Vascular studies throughout the body are also available. They include Carotids, Venous & Arterial Doppler Scans, Mesenteric Arterial Doppler, Renal Arterial Doppler and Adult EEG’s. Chaplaincy Services
Providing support for the spiritual needs of our patients and their families through our Chaplaincy Services is an important aspect of patient care at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital. Chaplaincy Services also provide assistance with difficult and complex decisions about treatment options, artificial life support, end-of-life issues, advance directives and quality of life. Diabetes Education
The Education Director and Dietitian offer classes for Diabetes Self Management Training for adults and children who are newly diagnosed and for those who need in-depth education. The nationally recognized three-day course is conducted monthly on the hospital campus. The sessions are three hours in length. Participation in the Program requires a referral from your Physician. A Diabetes Support Group meets each month on the third Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Classroom located on the 5th floor at the hospital. There is no cost to participants. For more information contact the Education Department at 409-883-1395.

Emergency Services
Our newly built Emergency Department is located in front of the hospital for easier access to emergency medical services. Free blood pressure checks are available in the Emergency Department. For more information, please call 409-883-1248.

Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital specializes in the care of the critically ill adults. Services include complicated general surgical cases and medical diagnoses of acute myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, dysrhythmias, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sepsis and hypertensive crisis.
Laboratory
The Laboratory Department at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists. Medical Imaging
The Medical Imaging Department is open 24 hours per day. Services provided include invasive and non-invasive techniques, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, Mammography, General Diagnostic Radiography and Nuclear Medicine. Medical, Surgical & Pediatrics Unit
The Medical, Surgical & Pediatric Unit at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital specializes in the care of medical/surgical patients and pediatric patients. The patient population on this unit ranges from infants to geriatric.
Nutrition Services
Nutritional Services are provided to inpatients and outpatients of all ages at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital. The Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition counseling and teaching for individuals, families and groups. For more information, please call 409-883-1197.
One Day Surgery
The One Day Surgery Department accommodates patients from infant to geriatrics. This unit administers care to patients who are here for surgical procedures that do not require an overnight stay at the hospital. Services include laparoscopic procedures, ear, nose and throat procedures, cystoscopy procedures, orthopedic surgery, foot surgery and endoscopic procedures.
Outpatient Wound Clinic
The Outpatient Wound Clinic provides care for those patients with acute or chronic wounds and also those patients with ostomy problems. The Clinic is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Appointments are required. Outpatients may be referred by contacting the Outpatient Wound Clinic at 409-883-1470.
Patient Advocate
Resolving problems, concerns or unmet needs of our patients and family members is important to us. Our Patient Advocate is here to serve as a communicator, facilitator and problem-solver. The Patient Advocate can be reached at 409-883-1161.
Patient Access Services
When you arrive at the hospital for prearranged outpatient or inpatient services, you will be escorted to the Patient Access Department for registration. In this setting, you will be asked to provide information that will assist the hospital in establishing a record of your visit. Patient confidentiality is maintained throughout this process. Outpatient tests and procedures are scheduled in advance through our Scheduling Department. A Financial Counselor is available to assist with making financial arrangements. Physical Therapy
Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital offers the outpatient services for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. These services are available by appointment, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Outpatient therapy services are provided upon receipt of an order by your Physician. Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
Comprehensive rehabilitation services are available in the Rehabilitation Center to individuals whose functioning level has been limited by an injury or illness. The Rehabilitation Center is designed to accommodate patients age 18 years and older. A full continuum of rehabilitation services is provided for patients who have suffered a stroke, spinal cord injury, congenital deformities, amputation, total joint replacement, polyarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, burns, multiple trauma, fracture, brain injury and neurological disorders including multiple sclerosis, polyneuopathy, muscular dystrophy and parkinson’s disease. Respiratory
The respiratory therapeutic needs of acute or chronic pulmonary patients are provided by the Respiratory Care Department at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital. Outpatient diagnostic tests are also available. For more information, contact the Respiratory Department at 409-883-1185.

Surgery Department
The Surgery Department at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital accommodates patients from infant to geriatric. Elective procedures, trauma procedures, major surgeries and minor surgeries are performed in our Surgery Suites. The Surgery Department provides care and services for general, ENT, OB/Gyn, Orthopedic, Podiatric and Urology procedures.
Telemetry Unit
The Telemetry Unit at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital specializes in the care of medically ill adults with emphasis on their cardiac condition. The most common medical diagnoses treated on this unit include post acute myocardial infarctions, strokes, hypertension and dysrhythmias.
Volunteer Services
The Volunteers at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital are here to greet you when you arrive at the hospital and to help you find your way to areas for registration testing, treatment or surgery. Women’s Services
The Women’s Services Department at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital is designed with the childbirth experience in mind. There are five birthing suites furnished and decorated with home amenities to make you and your family more comfortable during the birthing process. The Women’s Services Department provides a full range of obstetric services including normal delivery and cesarean delivery as well as level one nursery care. Care for gynecological surgical patients is also provided on this unit. Childbirth classes and breastfeeding classes are available. For more information, please call 409-882-7160.
Breastfeeding classes are held the 4th Tuesday of every month. 7:00pm (excluding December). Classes are held in the Women’s Center at the Orange facility, call for reservations (409) 882-7160 classes are suggested before 8th month of pregnancy.
