Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations has a requirement for hospitals who participate in their accreditation process that states that we, as an organization, must provide our employees with information on how to report concerns about the safety or quality of care in our facility directly to the Joint Commission, without fear of retaliation or disciplinary action. Information can be obtained from the Quality Management offices or directly from the Joint Commission website at www.jointcommission.org.
