Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital, the Reaud Foundation and the Beaumont Foundation will break ground on a new 19 room hospitality house.

BEAUMONT – (June 2009) – On Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at 11:30am, Baptist Beaumont Hospital, the Reaud Foundation and the Beaumont Foundation will break ground on a new 19 room hospitality house. The $3.2 million dollar project will be located at 3120 College Street adjacent to Baptist Beaumont Hospital. The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn of the new Albert E. and Gena Reaud Family Shelter and will feature comments from David Parmer - CEO, Bo Crawford - Chairman of the Board, Antonia Remirez, MD – Chief of Staff and Guy Goodson, former mayor of Beaumont.

The $3.2 million Albert E. and Gena Reaud Family Shelter will be an answer to the critical housing needs of families while their loved ones are receiving medical care. The new facility will boast 19 private bedrooms rooms, a dining area with full kitchen, and a courtyard with prayer garden. The Albert E. and Gena Reaud Family Shelter will be surrounded by beautiful landscaping and will be within walking distance of the main entrance to Baptist Beaumont Hospital. The 12 month construction project is scheduled for completion in April 2010.
