OPENS CONVENIENT CARE CLINIC
BEAUMONT – (August 2009) On Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at 11:30 am, Baptist Beaumont Hospital along with Mayor Becky Ames and the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Baptist Convenient Care Clinic located at 3025 Dowlen Road – inside HEB.
Healthcare in the twenty-first century is a fast-paced environment filled with high expectations by customers. Gone are the days when only service matters. Today the economic climate has intensified shifting focus to the convenience of customers – ambulatory surgery centers, convenient care clinics and a hospitality house have all been designed to compliment our existing healthcare services. The new Baptist Convenient Care Clinic will be staffed by family nurse practitioners and physician assistants who diagnose and treat common family illnesses. The Clinic is a walk-in professional health care center open seven days per week with extended evening and weekend hours. The nurse practitioners and physician assistants see patients two years and older for common, non-emergent illnesses such as colds and flu, ear and sinus infections, sprains and strains and nail and hair conditions. The practitioners are licensed to write prescriptions that can be filled at the patient’s pharmacy of choice. The clinic is conveniently located in the west-end of Beaumont where many members of our community shop, work and live. The Clinic offers care that is convenient and affordable while providing quality care in a timely manner.
