Wound Healing Center
Memorial Hermann Baptist Wound Healing Center provides comprehensive, outpatient wound care services, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. The center utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to wound care by coordinating the efforts of multiple specialties trained to treat patients with chronic or non-healing wounds. The center is staffed by physicians in the following specialties: Family Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Podiatry, and Thoracic/Vascular Surgery.

Select Problem Wounds
Examination/Assessment of patients with chronic or non-healing wounds includes a medical history and physical examination, a nursing assessment, and an individualized plan of medical care that incorporates evidence-based practices. The physician and clinical staff utilize and implement advanced wound healing technologies, as well as outpatient diagnostic and laboratory studies to assess and resolve the non-healing wound. Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy is also available as a successful treatment modality when indicated. The Wound Healing Center is actively involved in patient, community and professional education.
